The "Love" You Dare Not Fail to Advocate

There are plenty of universal assumptions everybody is supposed to invest in, in the post-Christianity West, and I’ve mentioned a few of those. But as many pundits, influencers, and normal folks have observed: politics is downstream of culture. And here’s another front in the culture war.

In a past that seems Utopian today, when politicians, journalists and entertainers at least pretended not to hate God, America, and everything masculine, homosexuality was often called “the love that dare not speak its name.” Or something like that.

Whether it ever had anything to do with love is a kettle of fish complicated by how the Boomers replaced our language with an ever-devolving Newspeak. During the counterculture’s ascendance, post-JFK assassination, “love” became the catch-all euphemism for any and everything horny young people might do to collectively get their rocks off.

Today, sodomy is the “love” you dare not speak out against. There are evidently departments in every Hollywood production department and major publishing house dedicated to ensuring that scenarios are contrived in every book, movie, TV show (and news segment, sporting event, etc. etc.) to ram LGBT propaganda down the collective throat of the vanilla masses. So far as our cultural svengalis envision the world, there is no circle of friends in existence that doesn’t have at least one LGBT pairing.

In addition to highlighting sexually deviant characters, we also must be constantly reminded what our attitude should be about such, just in case we can’t quite figure out where our cultural svengalis stand on this issue. To that end, every single character who is depicted as positive, sympathetic…a decent human being…must be shown to approve of or advocate a perverse lifestyle. Don’t you want to be positive, sympathetic, and a decent human being, citizen? Then you had better adopt and embrace the Establishment-approved opinions on these matters.

Of course, the mass cultural conditioning must be achieved via the stick as well as the carrot. In entertainment, that means the villains, antagonists, and detestable characters are the only ones who reject the Establishment-approved attitudes and opinions. And our cultural svengalis will make sure you understand you are required to detest such characters. They can leave nothing to chance—even though it means churning out predictable, formulaic agitprop which does a piss-poor job of telling stories. They MUST ensure you despise people with the wrong opinions. Just as their preferred behaviors are designated as “love,” any rejection, disapproval of, or disgust for said behaviors must be characterized as “hate.”

Hate and/or fear.

Not just any ol’ kind of fear. A phobia. A phobia is a fear held by somebody who is psychologically dysfunctional in some way. Just ask Freud—he’ll tell ya. There’s something fundamentally wrong with somebody disgusted by Establishment-approved behaviors, see, because we’ve already established that mentally healthy, decent human beings recognize those behaviors as normal, natural, wonderful…maybe even preferable.

There are too many examples of all the above. Throw a rock and you’ll hit one. But since comic book superheroes are in my wheelhouse of late, I’ll shine a light on Captain America.

Steve Rogers was a young man in the early 1940s. Despite the skullduggery going on in the secret chambers of power, America was still alive and well in that time. And Americans did not tolerate certain behaviors when America was alive and well. You did not badmouth America back then. You did not disrespect the flag or what it symbolized. You didn’t cuss in polite company. You didn’t blaspheme, whether or not you “had religion.” You didn’t get divorced, or get pregnant before getting married. You didn’t sexualize children. You didn’t approve of or advocate sexual deviancy of any kind.

All that was going to change, after the indulged children of that era became adults and began the fundamental transformation of America. And even at the time, all the culture’s taboos were embraced in Hollywood and in the aforementioned secret chambers of power. But then and there, the young men who were volunteering to go save the world from Hitler didn’t tolerate any of those taboos in their neighborhood.

That was America. And nearly every American (outside of politics, finance, and entertainment) loved America. Steve Rogers loved America arguably even more than the regular Joes, who were fiercely patriotic themselves.

But the cultural svengalis at Marvel and Disney want you to have blind faith in the assumption that Steve Rogers, who was in suspended animation from approximately 1944, awakening some 60+ years later and is a man out-of-sorts in nearly every way, fully embraces the 2014-ish Establishment-approved cultural Marxist moral framework.

No oxymorons to see here, folks; move along!

The cultural svengalis work in an industry built for the purpose of making people believe ridiculous shit; so, all in a day’s work for them. And remember, verisimilitude, to them, is nothing compared to the primacy of The Narrative. And the Narrative is that decent human beings all unanimously approve of sodomy. So of course Steve Rogers doesn’t even bat an eye when some guy in group therapy mentions some domestic issue with a fellow sodomite. He treats it like some normal, natural state of affairs.

See how it’s done, citizen? Captain America is an exemplary hero. Wouldn’t you like to be an exemplary hero? Then you must also embrace the Establishment-approved attitudes about the cultural Marxist perversions driving our civilization over a cliff! You don’t want to be a fringe minority out-of-touch bigot, do you? You had better treat the sodomite lifestyle like a normal, natural state of affairs!

This psychological conditioning isn’t just in one of the last gawdawful Avengers flicks—this narrative is reinforced absolutely everywhere. There is no escaping it.

Nobody in the West is persecuting sexual deviants. Quite the opposite. They are a favored, protected class you dare not speak out against (unless you don’t revere popular opinion and are willing to lose fans/readers/Substack subscribers for calling it like you see it). So why are the cultural svengalis relentlessly pushing this narrative 24/7, with ubiquitous fervor? Why are they so committed to a one-sided argument?There’s no significant opposition to the message, so why doth they protest so much?
