That's why I hate not just computers in general but specifically having to upgrade my computer. Also AI art is here to stay so listening to those who claim that it's unethical are wasting their time.
Aaaaaand…just such a person is quibbling with me about it right now.
Like many technologies, computers, Internet, etc., are a double-edged sword. It can be used for good or evil. It can help you be more productive or it can screw up simple tasks and cause disaster. The more dependent on it we are, the more vulnerable we are.
…As proven by this trip I’m on where it’s not easy to access the Web.
Paulo Montes drew great cartoons for me. I found him on Fiver but he doesn't work from there now. I can pass your info to him if you wish. Also, check out my article today about using Reallusion to generate characters (3D or 2D). Reallusion isn't cheap, but it isn't as expensive as Paulo.
I can't do it on my phone. If I get an Internet connection later I'll message you from my laptop. Anyway, you click on the person’s profile and there's a “message” button.
One problem with Windows/Linux dual booting is that Windows can mess with your Linux files. Sometimes updating Windows might cause it to disable Linux booting. I've also seen Windows mess up the system clock and disable wifi or sound. You either learn to live with any inconveniences, or pick one.
A better option would be to install the OS you use most to the hard disk and install the other OS inside a virtual machine. This way the secondary OS become more or less an application on the primary OS. Running virtual machines requires more RAM and a capable CPU, but most modern PCs should be okay. Managing virtual machines isn't necessarily difficult, but it requires you to understand what a virtual machine is and reason about how the primary OS and secondary OS interact.
As for A.I. art, I don't really mind the idea. I guess it might be argued that it's not "true art", but we're talking about comic book pages, right? The other thing to consider is supporting human artists. It's an ethical consideration for sure. Maybe contact the communities of people like Eric D. July (YoungRippa59) or Ethan Van Sciver for recommends. I mention them specifically because they are both successful established comic book creators.
Computers: thank-you. A virtual machine might fit my needs.
Big Name Comix Folk: EVS & EJ ignored my inquiries. Again, I haven't established myself yet as a comic creator and they probably consider me too far beneath them. There definitely is a caste system in place, whether anybody refers directly to it or not.

Thank you. Can you tell me his page rate, and whether he does inks only or color, too? You can DM me if you need to. I'll check out your article.
He inks and does black and white. How do I DM?

I figured it out thanks!
I'll message back when I find wifi for the laptop.

Thanks for the visit and the comment.
